MAKANGA EDWARD MAYEGA GODWIN Graduated from Kyambogo University Kampala with ( Diploma in Education Secondary(DES 2005) Studied Discipleship Training School (DTS 2006) in Bethlehem South Africa and Bible School for the Nations (BSN2007) Durban South Africa. Having trained and studied world views and their effect on society has traveled in 9 African countries doing outreaches and trainings in churches and schools.

He founded Destiny Life Ministries International an organizational which seeks to help the needy through Skills Development and Talents Promotion. Many people have been trained in various skills through destiny and small scale businesses started as a result of training and small stipends given to start businesses.

Samuel Peter Senfuka is a basketball enthusiast, player and coach in the Ugandan basketball league. He is a two time graduate with a BA (mass communication ) and a BSc.IT both from Uganda Christian University. He has worked as a communications specialist for a number of non profit community organizations while volunteering as a basketball coach for community youths.

He is a two time East Africa inter University basketball gold medalist as player with Uganda Christian University. Peter has represented Uganda at the all Africa University games as a player on team Uganda basketball that were held in Pretoria South Africa 2006.

The Reverend Chris Ochaloi, a former Calvary Education Scholarship recipient, played Mens Basketball at the Uganda Christian University with Samuel Petersen. Chris is also chairman of our partners Call to Care Ugnada, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization from Gilford CT.

Abima Martin is a basketball player and coach .he has a diploma from Kyambogo University arua campus (Education Secondary (DES 2015) specializing in mathematics and sports science. he has played with the knight riders basketball club in Entebbe, also played with the Entebbe titans and he is currently playing for the arua pioneers basketball team in the Uganda basketball league. He also represented the kyambogo arua campus NTC in the two years of his course in 2014 and 2015 in the national intercollegiate games that took place in kabala NTC and bushinye institute respectively. He is currently volunteering as a basketball coach in several secondary schools in arua district training boys and girls as well as the coach of the arua pioneers basketball girl’s team.(A-TOWN BUCKS)


I graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor in Environmental Management. I am also a member of the board of directors of Nyaravur Farmers’ Sacco, and worked as a regional Manager for Cenergy Global Ltd based in Nebbi. I played for the University and represented it at different level of competition including East African University games in Tanzania and Nairobi.I too played in the Uganda national basketball team from 2002-2005, Blue Jackets, Kampala International University, KCC Lions, Sky Jammers I coached a number of Schools and basketball Club including; Namilyango College, Victory City Church, TLC Basketball team, and KCC Lions. I founded the Hoops of Hope Initiative, an organization which seek to improve community livelihood, and restore hope in northern district of Pader, and Nebbi through Sport, education, Skill training, and entrepreneurial development. We target mostly children and young people living in the rural communities..

Sylvia Nakazibwe

is a basketball player and coach, she has a bachelors degree in development studies from Makerere University. Played both soccer and basketball for the Uganda National Team represented Uganda in many tournaments, and participated in World University Games in Korea. Represented Makerere in many tournaments including Zuku University League where she was the most offensive player 2015. Honored Sports Women of 2013/2014 Makerere University. Unemployed but working as a volunteer coach at Nation Changers primary school.
